Hi! I am Ebrima Jeng, and I’m a 17-year-old student currently attending Louis Riel Arts & Technology Centre (LRATC). I’m in Grade 12 and graduating this year, with a growing interest in digital media, programming, and creative technology.
I enjoy learning and creating in my free time, especially through activities that challenge my creativity and problem-solving skills. Some of the things I regularly spend time on include:
As a current high school student, graduating this year, I have had a pretty linear educational background. For elementary school, I attended École Taché from kindergarten to sixth grade. From there, I went on to attend Collège Louis-Riel up until now, where I am currently in grade 12. During that time, I have taken a few digital media courses, notably in grade 9, 10, and 11. These classes helped me build a foundation in digital tools, design, and creative technology.
Outside of school, I enjoy a mix of creative, active, and relaxing activities, such as. . .
Watching TV shows (mostly anime)
Playing Video GamesThese activities help me stay creative, active, and motivated to keep learning new things.
I have experience working with a variety of digital tools and enjoy exploring how technology can be used to create and organize projects. Some of my digital skills include:
Creating games on Roblox with friends I'm comfortable working with computers, and I continuously aim to improve my technical and digital abilities!
Alongside my digital skills, I've gained valuable work and volunteer experience that has strengthened my responsibility, teamwork, and work ethic.
I have worked at a personal care home, under the maintenance position. I assisted with duties such as painting rooms and hallways, replacing defective technology, weeding, room inspections, etc.
I have volunteered several times, performing different tasks such as lawn care assistance and snow shoveling.
I've participated in Track and Field for several years, an experience that taught me discipline, perseverance, and how to push my limits.
